mccain - pubs' bitch

i used to kinda like mccain. i used to think he was a moderate republican. now, though, in recent months, he's turned into a pub punk bitch. first he goes and speaks at jerry falwell's college. huh? (i'm glad, a couple days later, when he spoke at either nyu or bu, a lot of the students turned their backs to him. and he had the nerve to give the same speech there too!)

now he's calling out the new york times for writing about the financial espionage that the bush administration has been doing. what? why? i mean, the nyt is part of the press, is it not? there is something called the 'freedom of the press', is there not? if the bush administration wasn't doing such shady things behind closed doors, they wouldn't have such reason to be enraged when they're exposed. but whenever they're fucking up and it's discovered, their way of dealing with it is to attack their attackers. can they make it any more obvious that they're guilty? guilty people attack back to try to deflect criticism of them; non-guilty people don't try as hard to destroy the other(s) because they know that eventually, the truth will set them free.

but back to mccain. this man who seemed at one point to have some is doing everything he can to show he's just like the rest of the pub punks. he will alter his whole viewpoint to try to win the presidential election.

that's the thing i don't like about most politicians. i'm talking most of them, from mccain to h. clinton to feinstein to obama to (... the list keeps going...) - they will sell their integrity and what they believe is right or wrong so that they can stay politicians.
