chevron - boo!

in case you think of stopping at the closest gas stateion around, and that gas station happens to be chevron (or texaco or caltex), KEEP DRIVING!

why?

well, i have issues with all the gas companies. despite being a libertarian and believing in a fairly free market, i do believe gas companies are exploiting consumers to a certain degree with prices. then they try to pretend that they don't have any choice, that they are just charging what the have to.

then i learn that chevron's former ceo, lee raymond (or jabba da hut), is receiving a $400 million retirement package. doesn't sound that bad? consider this. that comes to $141,000 a bloody day!!!

not that any of the other companies are much more honorable, but let me let you know - chevron will never get my business.

i hope they don't get yours either.
